....excellent as the numbers speak for themselves. Meanwhile the Australian Army struggles with the MRH90 POS [don't mention its dopey step-brother the Tiger - equally POS]

Our 24 x MH-60R's all delivered on-time and on-budget and on-performance! Says it all.

It's amazing that the US military plans to continue flying this aircraft for several more decades. Seems the cost to develop and produce new aircraft is prohibitive. Given the current defense budget constraints, the only option is to continue upgrading existing aircraft every few years.

Riff Raff,
To a point; the US Army would doubtless argue that the FVL-JMR project will deliver the replacement for the Blackhawk in the 2030s.....The aircraft remains viable in an upgraded form until this time and will possibly soldier on alongside the JMR aircraft if the costs become prohibitive.
