Talking Bug Alert !

Just a gentle warning, probably one of many, but forewarned etc...
Apparently one of these virus thingies has been hiding, or whatever they do, in word docs, so if you get one e-mailed, don't open it!
You can tell I'm TI litterattte.

Exclamation

Viruses in MSWord documents are quite common - I receive one or two each month. I also receive the SnowWhite, W32/Magistr@MM and other viruses frequently, at least one or two occurances each week.

A few tips :
Treat with extreme caution any attachments to an email. I personally save them to a file and scan them. I never open MSWord documents, instead I ask the originator to resend me the document as plain text.
Keep your virus checker up to date. I update mine at least once each week.
Occasionally visit one or more antivirus sites to see what the virus writers are up to. www.nai.com and www.mcafee.com are good places to start.
