Wokka over central London

18:47 over Hampstead Heath heading for central Londonl. What's that all about then? Unusual to see them this late in the day. Followed by what sounded by a Lynx 5 minutes later.

There are two VH-60's and two CH-47D's doing familiarisation flights around London from Northolt and Stansted ready for a certain chap to turn up at Stansted.

I bet he won't have to walk from Gate bloody 62 like I have to...
Also correct. He's the President of the USA. You're a rather moany ex-member (admin) of the RAF. Did you expect parallel treatment?

Thanks for that. I've never heard a Black Hawk before, so I excuse myself for not recognising it. It may explain why I only saw its navigation lights. even though it was only at 1,000ft

According to todays 'Mail on Sunday', Air Force one is to be escorted through UK airspace by a "Squadron of Fighters".

Slightly off-thread but look what turned up at my daughters' riding school this afternoon (en route from Wattisham to take part in the forthcoming firepower demo at SPTA). Thanks for the demo guys.

I bet the photo shoot wasn't in the plan. In the modern age with Digital cameras and the internet, there isn't any privacy any more, you can't keep anything from the RQHI!
