A simple misunderstanding. The French pilot thought it was a French military vehicle, and assumed it was reversing.

FOR SALE: VW Transporter Crew Bus

Unique Convertible, conversion carried out by Panavia Ltd.
Green, A/C, Sunroof, Full Service History.
Some stains on upholstery hence £1500 ono.
