BA's attempt to appease the green lobby over aircraft engine emissions with a new power source is seen by some as a step in the wrong direction.

After the last tail logo rebranding fiasco the boys and girls at BA thought they had hit the nail on the head with the new design, the crew liked it so much they all had a healthy glow about them!

Recalling the Nimrod AEW fiasco, BAe's feeble attempt to prove they hadn't wasted billions of pounds of taxpayers money in developing a nuclear powered aircraft fooled nobody.

As part of an 'ethical' policy to placate the treehuggers, BA decided to accept the CND Sponsorship.

Since the end of the Cold War sending your nukes via airliner was much more economical than all that bunker, silo and submarine nonsense.
