Speedy return to all of those of us who are away.
RIP to those of us who are amongst the stars, Per Ardua. |
RIP
Raised a glass last night whilst looking at Orion and thought of CXX/3. May they and all the other servicemen and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice rest in peace.

I also spared a few moments shortly after midnight whilst watching the neighbours fireworks.
Lest we forget. |
Yes, spent a few moments just after midnight remembering the many friends and colleagues that have departed to the stars over the past 12 months.
God Bless to you all, you are in our thoughts always. Per Ardua Ad Astra TSM |
dark and stormy day
I remember a very stormy day! A day we Couldnt convince the aircrew to go home so we cud get some early rectification work done! After falling from the side of a wessex in a big gust of wind I was getting angryer and angryer! Then it happened a lone crew member had been pre-posistioned on the top of a cliff on the return he was found to be missing! If was later found face down in the water! Un-forgiveable risk flying that day Not only because of the dead crew member but injured ground crew that day in the winds.

Well Done the Canuks
A fine "Salute" to a young man who has been educated to pay his respects. A big thank you to the Canadians who gave him that salute.:D Absent Friends Semper Agressus |
Do take a minute or so to watch this clip, it will bring a tear to your eye, and quite rightly so. Real Respect. (not respek m8 as the yoof of today put it).

Most of the kids in this country could learn something from this. Well done to the lad, parents should be praised for bringing up a well mannered young man. Finally congrats to the CF guys n girls for making his day too (if not impacting on a greater part of his future.)

Most heartening, especially whilst Panorama is playing in the background showing a number of scrotes trashing their own country.

A lot of dust around tonight.

Good for the wee lad! And good for them for returning the compliment. I bet he felt ten feet tall!
