RAAF C-130H End of an Era

For those 'Down-Under' The RAAF C-130H is soon to retire (very quietly I am told)...The end of an era thrash will likely be held soon, although no-one is yet to announce it!!!....Stand-by for the 'Stallion' ending functions.... I am hopeful that the informal events will be a success anyway...

Retirement of RAAF C130H

LJR, not all that quitely. CAF briefed 37 Sqn "H" element on 9May2012 that the C130H will cease operational flying wef 30June2012. BTW, the Stallion lives on, still with 36 Sqn now on the C17. When the H went to 37 Sqn the Stallion was replaced by the 37Sqn artwork.
