Blue Angels unplanned landing
US NAVY Flight Demonstration Squadron, The Blue Angels, make an unplanned landing at Pensacola Gulf Coast Regional Airport as their home base Pensacola Naval Air Station was closed.

When I was a pilot, ALL my landings were planned, without exception!
Now folks....this is one of the premier Jet Demonstration teams in the World....yet their home base could not figure out how to turn the frigging lights on? Some JO is probably headed to a new un-accompanied posting somewhere in the Aleutian Island chain....somewhere they use Dog Sleds for transportation and the sled dogs for entertainment.
Somehow...this certainly begs the title of "Un-planned"!
Perhaps the new Bossfellah ain't settled in just yet!
