Thumbs up Apache at Eshott Airfield today

A formidable sight, when it decided to be seen that is, as it hides nicely behind the treeline. Only one field away you can hear it (just) but not see it. Thanks for flying overhead our house so I could get some photos, yeah I was the idiot clicking away with the flash photography! The small boy remaining in me was smiling form ear to ear. Must get a better camera, but if I can work out how to upload them I'll put some pics on here.

I saw one anti aviation lobbyist neighbour (he's been here 8 years, whereas the airfield was here originally for Spitfire pilots) on the telephone. Hope the army and the airfield ignore his complaint.

Come back and do some more training soon please!
