How best to cheapen the actions of servicemen and support throughout the world!

| The awards, the brainchild of His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales, present an opportunity for the public to recognise some of the excellent work and achievements of our people. |
Don't we already have an awards/honours system in this country?
I guess it saves Buck House having to have those military types coming in and messing up the carpets when they used to go in for VCs, GCs, DSOs, CGCs, GMs, DSCs, MCs, DFCs, AFC, QGMs, MiDs, QCBs, QCBAs, OoBs, GBEs, KBEs, DBEs, CBEs, OBEs, MBEs, RRCs, ARRCs, QCVSs.
Are the people who run that hotel in Woking behind all of this?
Now all the servicemen need do is turn up at the Suns party and get presented a 'Millie' from whoever needs a bit of publicity for their new book/record/play/show etc. All based on a public vote by those who haven't a clue what is going on with British Forces around the World, except for a few selected stories published in a tabloid newspaper, called by British servicemen, "The Scum".
Heaven forbid that an award from your country, presented by The Queen would would be reward enough for your actions.
