Quiz Team Names
We plan to attend a pub quiz tonight. Whenever we go to such an event, we can never come up with a genuinely witty/funny/ appropriate Team name.
This may have been covered here before but can anyone suggest any decent names? other than the obvious 'Norfolk n Chance' 'Piston Broke' etc etc
(might be better for Jetblast?)
All suggestions considered.
Thanks.

Heard two recently which made me smile,
"And the winner is" (Think about it!)
or
"The number of wan*s I have had today is..."
Bit crude, but effective in embarrassing the compere. Gauge the time and the place carefully for that one I suppose.

Random Words
Go with Random Words. A friend and I once thought of one word each, he went first and myself second. The team name became 'Custard Fish'.
Failling that...... Try.....

Think of something topical, and a bit sick.
I won "Best name" bonus in a quiz a few years back with "Rod Hull's TV aerial repair service" only two days after he died.
Think along the lines of recently deceased cricket coaches say, and make a pun on that. "Woolmer's googlies" perhaps?

My nom de pume on here is from a quiz team I was in:
"And the winners are the country calls"
To which we would always chime up "But of course he did, thats how we won!"
When it was sussed we simply changed it to the country members!
