To make a Boeing pilot warm and happy
|
I don't feel warm and fuzzy.
I do however have a headache from trying to read the article. halas |
Warm and dizzy then?

It'll be a kick-ass aircraft, but it's interesting that they are going for reduced weight and thrust.
Surley save the weight, but leave the engines at 115 and the MTOW at 351, and so reap the extra useful load. You MIGHT end up a touch heavier and burn a little more, but if they can make money out of the A380, surely load is more important than burn. -and lets hope Boeing sacks up and tells EK they can't have it without the proper Pilots CRC!! |
Under the Chicago-based airframer... And yes I feel warm and happy but still a bit cold and sad after the cancellation of the B747-8s:{ |
Oh cool, a billion mile range at FL280
|
Eric,
Boeing moved its administrative HQ from Seattle to Chicago several years back. Better tax breaks in Illinois. Its manufacturing and assembly plants remain in Seattle. |
what about the south ?
Isn't Boeing doing some operations in South Carolina that is causing a union piss off ? Or trying to move some of the operation there to save money and avoid union pay ?? Sorry.. heard and read about it while home in the US and not sure of the specifics.
