I have received a job proposal for B777 captain from Aero gulf in Abu Dhabi. They are asking me to pay for my visa and work permit. I did check their website and they only operate helicopters . any infos ?

I would invest in a ticket to AUH and check them out before parting with any funds. There have been a few recruitment scams in the region over the last few years, and while your offer and the operator may be completely legitimate, it would seem sensible to double check.

ITS A SCAM.. I received 2 emails from them recently.. they pop up every few months, with different names. when they think people have forgotten about them...always the email is always the same format. I always check the sender and receiver addresses...DONT SEND THEM ANYTHING.. even CV definitely MONEY. you will never see them. Check their email. the real AeroGulf company has the email address [email protected]. Why would a company ask you for money to process your visa and work permit????? it is their problem not yours. IGNORE the email and move on otherwise a lot of heartaches.. FYI would you send details to a guy claiming to be a businessman, prince or princess who needs your help to move money in return you get 10% of the total amount all you need is to send $800 dollars for processing fees and ID documents????

Thanks for all the replies...I called the company in Abu Dhabi and they are aware of this scam. beware guys.
