My experience as regular SLF is that loads have become weaker this last year.
Yes, travel at start / end of a week, school / college holiday period and the flights are maxed out.
But, last weeks example (flown midweek to midweek)
22 out of MAN, J less than half full (yes it's the weakest of the 3 MAN flights)
538 to AMD - predictably totally full
515 Ex DEL - combined J&F load on the bus max 25 out of possible 50
19 back to MAN - J about 65% full and the rearmost upstairs economy section blocked out empty.
The irony being that the only one of these flights operating full was that being flown on EK's smallest aircraft, a 200LR..................

For the hard of understanding: A scheduled operation has peaks and troughs - as Schnowzer has pointed out!
This is why, if you don't have children of school age, it's a good time now to take leave as there's less stress with the standby travel!
