Daily GRU A380 EK

The daily São Paulo 777 will be swapping with the LAX 380 (EK217) on March 26th.

A decent swap for the Boeing!

Bugger, bloody awful pairing (imho) with ridiculously short layover.

I'll bite (!) what about the crew meals?

Dearest Alan, 777 is most welcome to the radiation route with minimal diversions over the Pole.

EK singed a new codeshare agreement with GOL towards the end of last year, so it's not a surprise to see this happen soon after. GRU seems to offer better connectivity than GIG does, based on what many South American colleagues have said.

Hmm, how many Braziliian 777 crew will say bye bye after losing GRU? I know of two for sure. This filled up their S. bucket. A chance to get home every so often, gone.

Only means the Brazilian's on the 380 will be happier. Never plan your AC on a destination for getting home.
