A challenging day

Just a word of thanks to my fellow EK colleagues, ATC and our often overworked Ops team.
Unforecast fog, diversions and then to top it off, drones on approach!
Thanks one and all for your efforts and professionalism, just shows that despite some rather ordinary management, the troops on the front line continue to do a great job.

Not helped earlier in the day by a few diversions to DWC, when the UAE Al Furjan Team decided it was a great idea to hold at 1500' overhead DXB, whilst awaiting their slot for a display for UAE National day.... whoops.

Although that was Co-notamed, seems it came forward by an hour

Seems tonight is very humid as well, but everyone has the fuel
