How many planes have flat beds in business?
You use the shower as an example. Well Emirates is providing this feature of its flagship first class product on over 80 airframes. I would suggest this is a whole lot more than any other airline. For example Etihad's residence, other airline's A380/B748 lounges etc.

The business class product is very similar in the vast majority of 777s and all A380s. Can you name another airline that has such a high and similar of business in almost all aircraft on almost every route from short haul through to ULR? Even Etihad and Qatar don't compete here.

This is my point. Most other airlines have so many different fleets of different ages. The product varies wildly across a320/b737/a330/b757/b767/b787/b747/a380.

@bigdaviet

"very similar" is the problem. When most airlines are offering flat beds in business, EK still offers angel beds. Though hard product is better on A380, cabin service suffers because CC have to take care of 76 business pax.

This problem is glaring where same station is served by both A380s and B777W.

It is very difficult to reconfigure cabins on leased aircrafts when spending need to be controlled because of dropping yields.
