shipping companies to export my car to europe

hi everyone

finally leaving the sandpit !! does anyone have experience regarding a good shipping company to ship my mercedes out of dubai to poland.

any feedback/experiences good or bad from those that are going through the process will be appreciated.

Contact relocation company or local shipping company here in dubai. You can book a container which will be delivered to your nearest port.

EMovers got my Volvo C30 shipped safely to Doha from AUH a few years back. Only problem was the dirty paw prints from the Doha Customs sniffer dog all over the leather seats. Can't blame the agent for that. Have also used EMovers for furniture packing and removals and reassembly within UAE. Happy with the company and service offered.


As the previous poster says, as long as the Merc fits inside a standard shipping container it should be able to go pretty much anywhere in the world by sea. If you're not in a hurry. Width might be an issue for a bigger car.


A very long time ago CargoLux would take a car and up to 4 pax (who sat upstairs) in an otherwise empty 747 freighter going back from DXB to Stanstead (I think) for £1000 cash. Bring your own booze and sandwiches. (In those days you could still buy RHD cars in DXB and if you kept it at least a year here there was no tax on import to UK.)


Is anyone still doing this sort of thing??

Pickfords International do it for a 4000 aed additional charge on your move with them. Hope that helps.
