EK - be careful

There are apparently several initiatives from inside the pilot group to inform the world about Emirates' creative ways of looking at OM-A Section 7 and the controversial role of its watchdog GCAA.
As much as this is needed to bring back some sanity to the operation, please be aware of the legal realities in the UAE. If you assume that all mail, electronic and phone traffic inside the UAE are monitored you are on the right track. Please make sure you send us and others information only from safe countries - and leave no trail.

The government of the UAE has clearly decided not to supervise the airline but to do the opposite and keep their dirty secrects under the lid with all the means available to an authoritarian regime. Let's see how that works out for a Global brand finger pointing at everybody else. Anybody's guess how long it will take until some mighty power understands that those playing by the rules are at a serious disadvantage.

Our goal is to make that wake up call before it is written with blood.

Safe travels

The Guardian also stated that one of the cabin crew on Egypt air was a terrorist because she posted a picture of a crashed airplane...

Not a reliable source imo

It's a letter from the guy's brother. A Google search will reveal that this has been reported numerous times, Canadian government involved and still...
You may also check the U.S. Secretary of State's report on Human Rights in the UAE or read on humanrightswatch for the bigger picture.
Absolutely perfect conditions for an independent supervision of a government owned business

the article that you tried to ridicule is a P.S. to a serious note. Maybe in your honeymoon period you are not aware that Group Security is tightening their grip. Have a look at the iCrew App thread.

A woman in hot air balloon realized she is lost...

She reduced altitude & shouted to a man below: Excuse me, can you help me? I promised a friend to meet him an hour ago but I don't know where I am.

Man below replied: You are in hot air balloon 30 feet above the ground. You are at 41 degree North latitude & 59 degree West longitude.

Lady: You must be a Pilot

Man: How do you know?

Lady: Everything you told me is technically correct but useless & the fact is I'm still lost.

Pilot: You must be in Top Management.

Lady: Ya. How do you know?

Pilot: You don't know where you are or where you're going. You made a promise, which you've no idea how to keep & you expect people beneath you to solve your problems..!!
