UK EASA license.
When you convert your license, would a GCAA license with a 777 rating on it transfer to a UK EASA license with the combined 777/787 rating?
I started life with a UK license, then went to IAA and currently GCAA. Interestingly the Irish EASA does come with the 787 rating.
Thank you for any help.

Tiotes,
The short answer is yes, but...this is the UK CAA after all.
I did this last year, with some frustration. You will need to do an LST as P1, and also demonstrate sufficient experience via a certificated logbook, which I believe requires 500 hours P1 on type.
It will cost you circa 284GBP just for the CAA side of things.
Good Luck. It might be worth visiting the puzzle palace, or call them directly to make sure requirements haven't changed since its a new year and all.
Best of Luck

Thank you for the replies. When I phoned the CAA they had no idea, and I had to email their "technical team."
Does the P1 time have to be PIC? Or can PICUS be acceptable?
Cheik Tiote.
