EK question, not recruitment based.
So just a question to you EK guys out there, but what is happening with the A340-500s you guys have, I only ever seem to see one a day going to Kabul and nothing else....
What are the overall plans with these, I understand that they are all paid for and fully owned by EK now? Are they sat on the ground collecting sand currently ?

It changes daily.
EK is down to one 345.
It is used mainly for Kabul but will make appearances elsewhere. It was supposed to be gone at the end of September but there now appears be plans in the works to hold onto it. There was also brief discussions to turn it into a charter plane. The plans for this odd ball plane seam to change every month. I think EK sold a few to a charter outfit, while the others were sold and parked or disassembled for parts. Someone else may have better info.
