Excellent post, very well written with true facts.
One thing that needs adding is the overtime rate, which should be at a rate of 1.5 to 2 times your normal hourly rate. The company pays a factor LESS than your hourly rate, so it's cheaper for them to drive you into overtime than get new crew - oh sorry I forgot, they can't get new crew!
