Do you really think that QR did this JUST to annoy the US3? QR had plans to open these routes 2 years ago, just didn't have the aircraft, they now do due to a few deliveries of 787s and more 350s.

They have to put their 80 upcoming A350s somewhere... Especially before the US potentially closes the door to more flights thanks to the US legacies.
