EK to have No More Per Diem?

Heard a rumor very recently that EK will get rid of all Per Diems starting next summer, staying mostly at if not entirely at Marriott Hotels, and get vouchers for 3 meals a day at those Marriott hotels.

Additionally, a rumor about only getting half pay for all DH's sometime in the future as well.

Any one else heard anything like this before?? What to do if you don't like what the hotel has on offer for food/beverage?
