Why ?

In this day and age would anyone broadcast a silly CGI ad involving A340s buzzing a beach and towing banners?
Why indeed ?

Makes EK's 'Hello Tomorrow' campaign seem almost sensible.

Etihad's new advert. What I can't fathom, is why Emirates and Etihad are the only adverts that are allowed on SkyNews.

Now you put yourself in it...

Ahhh Harry, Now you've done it. You have uttered the word that may not be spoken. Don't you know that you may only refer to this company as "~"? OR "The company formerly known as "X" (There was a musician who did the same in the 90's....but you cant mention his name either).

Now this post will be erased, the thread deleted, probably the whole forum will be shut down, blown up etc. I expect you will be sent to Guantanamo Bay and held without explanation where you will be beaten and tortured until you confess your connections with organized terrorism OR worse, you could be tied to a comfy chair and forced to watch Oprah re-runs 24/7. Personally I'd go with the former.

Anyway...nice knowing ya!

'Why?' is the 'punchline' of this ad - which I think is also showing on BBC World ??

Assume Sky will accept ads from anyone prepared to pay the going rate. The agency that created it got money for old rope. One of the worst I've seen, IMO

Mods - suggest you edit Harry's post so this thread has a chance of staying. Otherwise, ma'alish.
