Etisalat - unknown accounts with unpaid bills!

Hi, has any one in the great sand pit been suddenly blocked off from their home internet and then even an unrelated (but under the same name) pre-paid mobile account for, purportedly, "unpaid bills" (totaling about AED 3k) belonging to two accounts that have your name, but the account numbers don't ring a bell, that you have never received bills for or ever been contacted about, that has a scanned application form on their system with hand writing and signature that don't match your's? How did you get out of it?

Call the police and file a complaint. 901. Will give them something to do other than driving around smoking.

Was reading of another account recently, the police take this quite seriously - the person who forged a signature is facing deportation for fraud!

They can and do analyse the handwriting, not sure if they would in this case or if it has to be over a certain amount...
