Exclamation Head of National Aviation Regulator Also CEO of Private Iranian Airline

Is anyone aware of a case where the head of a countries national aviation regulator is also the CEO of a private airline?

Surprisingly that this is the case in Iran, where the head of the Civil Aviation Organization (CAO) Reza Nakhjavani is also the CEO of private airline called Kish Air:

Board of Directors « Kish Airline
Fars News Agency :: Iran to Buy New Airliners from Russia

This is bound to have made the other airlines pretty annoyed and feeling that there is likely to be a degree of favoritism taking place. Surely it is a conflict of interest to have the CEO of a private airline serving as the head of a national (supposedly impartial) aviation regulator?

Might just be 2 guys with similar names, not surprising in a country with over 80 million people.

Didn't Sheikh Al Maktoum wear two hats, one EK and one GCAA some time ago?

De rigueur in India
Check out the Board of Directors in Pawan Hans Helicopters. No conflict of interest there then!

SCATANA: Good try but unfortunately that's not the case:
tehran times : Nakhjavani appointed Iran CAO director
Interestingly the Tehran Times article refers to Nakhjavani's position as the head of Kish Airlines in the past tense - this is inaccurate however as he is still the CEO of Kish Airlines. The Wikipedia article back's this up and I've also has this verified by one of Kish Air's senior MD80 Captains.

I've done a fair amount of searching, trying to find other examples like Nakhjavani's but found none so far to compare with him in that he is the CEO of a main national carrier which accounts for a significant amount of Iran's air transport traffic, and yet also serves a the head of the (impartial) national aviation regulator.
