EK Medical.

Could someone let me know what I can expect from the Emirates medical. I have been working on turboprop aircraft for several years so my hearing has got worse when tested. Do you have a hearing test as part of the medical.

Thanks

Yes, they stick you in one of those sound proof boxes to check hearing.

Maybe you should invest in a hearing check before you go if it worries you?

The hearing check is particularly faint, but everyone has problems with it, so the results are recalibrated in some way. Don't be too stressed out if you don't hear many tones in the booth!

There are now two Meydans Sally... One is called the Heights and one is South... Take the South option!

The school being built by the Meydan South compound is Kent College. Opening in September this year...

JPHIL

JPHIL,
Yes a lot of people complain about company accommodations here, however be VERY careful about taking the move out allowance you could quite easily find yourself moving every year as the land lords can only raise your rent so much they tend to kick you out at the end of your lease and relist it at a higher rate. Which means ripping out old garden replanting new garden etc. There could be a whole new thread on horror stories about this. It most likely would be in your families best interest to accept company accommodation. Just some friendly advice.

I have flown with at least a dozen FO's that have returned to their previous LCC' To each there own.

I went mid December to final medical stage and am still waiting for the thumbs up. I was requested to give HR an updated referee sheet when i got back home about 4 weeks ago but have heard nothing since......i guess it's just a busy time of year?

Hey guys!

Just wondered if anybody recently applied ( within the last two weeks or so) and if you have been offered an interview date already?

PM me!

Cheers!
