Inevitably some people will fail the selection. The fact that they will not become "valued employees" does not mean they should not be treated with respect by the company they have gone to the trouble of applying to.

Vfenext, I passed and still complaining. I don't feel great, I met guys better than me on day 1 and I didn't see them on day 4. May be they identify the slaves. If they find people who are not ready to be abslave, probably they will put them down. Like someone said, people who would fit the EK mould.

Vfenext,
I may have agreed with you in the past. But now I am hearing many stories of bad, unprofessional treatment of potential new joiners throughout the process. Those successful and those not.
Its a disgraceful way to treat people. If people are concerned by the rumours they hear on this forum, this treatment from the company itself before they have even passed or failed an assessment will not sure up their confidence.
And as these people are messed around, they're not sitting doing nothing. They are passing assessments with our rivals.

Exactly BG. One guy I met had cleared Asssements with neighbour & QR, but still he wanted EK for Dubai. Once he didn't make it past day 1 he was forced to leave the Inn asap. Totally unethical. 5 year contract is too long, whereas rest of the world offers 3.
