Got an enail from the other day from one of the skippers, they're putting together some sort of a fund for the drivers at EY

They set up a site Pilots Scheme Home

Sounds good, good job guys..when?

Looks like a very good idea. I would be curious to know which European airline they are talking about with the same scheme. Would be interesting to have the feedback from the pilots over there.

Hi All.

Yes, its correct, we are putting the scheme into life. We're currently working on it for the introduction early next year.

If you do require any further information, please send a Private Message

I HAVE REMOVED THE LINK FOR LEGAL REASON, THANKS FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING

Hi Andy,

Great idea mate, will you guys introduce the scheme through Company email to the pilots or will it be word of mouth?

Cheers

Hi 346,

At the moment, due lack of access to the entire database in terms of 'sending mails to groups' I have been mailing randomly, using the yahoo group we have and facebook.

I am arranging a meeting at HQ soon and as for them to send a mass email to all the Pilots.

Cheers.

You guys should change the name of this fund since it really has nothing to do with EY. People might think etihad actually had something to do with something that actually benefits its' employees, when in reality everyone who works there knows that the present management doesn't give a flying f**k about anybody but themselves. The ' best airline in the world' would probably contribute an equal percentage, like most REAL airlines in the world do.

Excuse me..
May I recommend an interesting book to read and ponder before you start giving away your hard earned?

Does your fund pass all these tests if not...good luck.

Hi SEC3, we have only been using the name 'Etihad' as an illustrative ref for the guys.

The name has yet to be determind officially.

With the rest of your comments, I totally agree. We just thought we'd get the ball rolling ourselves then possibly our airline will contribute too!

Cheers

40&80,

As yet, the 'Fund' has not commenced, but thank you for your input.

The Fund will be managed by 'US' not an outside firm or the likes of...

Cheers

Andy
