VRPs at DXB

Hi,

Next time in the Sandpit, i'm intending to join a friend of mine to do some VFR in a UAE based aircraft, and I was wondering if you can point me in the right direction with regards to VRPs at Dubai, so I can get a better understand of how things work in comparison to my PPL 'port back home.

Looking at the charts, it seems the VRPs all have 2-Letter identifiers and VFR routes 3-digit identifiers. Are these used on the RT for example, "A6..., cleared to enter the zone via the GB, VL2 route not above altitude 1500ft. SQK xxxx. Or are well known features like the Creek and Jumeirah used?

Thanks in advance,
HJ.

(Sorry for the n00b question...)
