Pregnancy Coverage?

Yes and no.

Benifits "kick" in 6 months from date of joining.
Date is taken from mom's last period. If mom's last period is after six months after joining, you're covered.
Pregnancy start is calculated as starting from the first day of the last menstrual period (LMP).
If the date is unknown, they will do an ultrasound to determine the circumference of the kid's skull to determine the date the child "joined" EK.

Thanks for the help.

So if she is pregnant now we won't be covered. We will my wife and future kid be covered?

Can't you delay?

Anything is possible in Dubai... really!
All the others will be covered for hatching, medical, and education.
The fare for the trip down the 'chute is the only thing not covered for the first wee carbon-based bi-ped. For everything else you're covered.
But- anything more than three- you're on your own, but you can take out insurance to take care of them through the company clinic, etc, but education is strictly out of pocket.
Hope this helps.
PM me if you have any other questions.

For you planning, if she isn't covered, just the delivery at the American hospital is Dhms10,000 for natural births and 20,000 if she's to posh to push.
