A320 / A330 Ccq

I went for an interview at Etihad for the A320. They told me we'd all be CCQ'ed to the A330 - probably.

Is this real? Is it really, really, really real? I can imagine a lot of A320 pilots saying "Yes please!" and a lot of A330 pilots saying "No thanks!"

Anybody got the inside skinny on this?

It's real.

I don't see why A330 pilots would say "no thanks"...initially just talking about CCQing A320 pilots to the 330. If later on 330 guys don't want it, they just got to be CCQued on the 340

320/330 CCQ will start in September.

They will tell you all sorts of things, if you go on the 320 there will be no ccq (from what I have heard)

My airline also gave the carrot of ccq after I joined, later revoked it.

Still Etihad better than any western airline in regard to cash...

But there are a few other options in the Mid East that might suit better. look around.

Well that's cleared that up.

It is real and it isn't real.

Mr Schrodinger, could I borrow your cat for a few moments?

If you know the difference between a fact and a rumour, then you got your answer.
Otherwise, just keep wondering and come back in 6 months...

Its happening. And the 330 guys who complain, just dont see the advantages because they come from the 'mines bigger than yours' camp!

Heard that they are finally CCQ'ing the 340 guys on the 330, what a relief, no more Only ULR flights. That is until they find out that is what we want, the mix is nicer compared to doing fourteen hour flights.
