Any Expat A320 jobs in the Middle East?

Hi all,

Would my chances of getting hired with an airline in the Middle East be better with an A320 type-rating? I have an FAA CPL with a little over a thousand hours on turboprops.
I have also completed the FAA ATP written.

Are all airlines in the M.E. looking for jet hours, or would time in turboprop also matter.
What are some airlines/companies I could look into, and some I should stay away from?
I don't care about where they base me.

Would appreciate some info on the same!

Thanks.

320 jobs

If you are under 28, you can try Qatar Airways as a Second Officer because you do not have the minimum requirements for First Officer. Pretty much everyone in the sand pit wants to see at least 2000 total and 1000 jet glass cockpit.

Gulf Air is looking for 150+ pilots as we speak. A320 type rating is not a prerequisit, and they do hire people with turboprop time only. I would recommend applying, but your time might be a little short of a "competitive" minimum.

I am aware that they are hiring. However, they require a JAA equivalent frozen ATPL, and 500 hours on jet!

Do you still recommend I apply?
