London's Control, "management" is a big word mate. Don't know if I would describe them so eloquently

Management by default, anyone with any skills somehow managed to leave the island...

Those who stayed, expats and Bahrans alike just happened to be there.

Then of course you have the family factor, just like condoleances on the intranet in the pink palace, bahrain air will be the sallimi and El hamar gang, i can already see the faces from Costa looking up as you wallk in and the not so secret secretaries in the canteen.

The whole of bahrain is a joke, writing it in small letters only serves to give everyone a better picture.

Bahrainair has an extremely professional, vibrant, and informative website that complies with international W3C internet standards. It's completely up and running and was designed to get everyone excited about the services and routes they're about to launch. It's even got a it's own blog so the company can communicate and connect to it's customers sharing it's company culture and future plans. Yeah right! Who am I kidding !?

http://bahrainair.net/

A company that wants 90% of it's workforce to hold red passports. That alone is enough to make me say no thanks. We all know what level of service, professionalism, and efficiency we get from 100% Bahraini run organizations ie. govermental ministries

Putting People First

Our success shall be through the efforts of our people. We recruit the right and (Sellimi style ) dynamic (very!! ) individuals and train them ( By Sellimi style folks ) to reach the highest standard of professional and personal competent. ( Ouch! I over stretched myself and I have a back problem! 10 days off please!)

Safety is our number one priority and our staff and crew must possess the maturity seen with any situation ( foresseing things to come I guess?). We work hard ( Ouch! I need another 20 days for this one!) to ensure our staff love working forBahrain Air ( I bet they will !) and embrace their work as a way of life ( something yet to be seen in a place like Bahrain). You will feel like part of the family (Confirms what I said a little higher up the sellimi family and al Hummer) from day one, working with friendly ( So friendly Yikes!) people across the network. Then there is a definite team spirit and our crew work together to provide a professional service ( LOL) .

With on-going growth, it is an exciting time to join Bahrain Air and there are no doubts that the role of staff with Bahrain Air presents a fantastic career opportunity for your future. (As a passenger, I don't think so!)

Let's play this game and guess who is going to be filling these posts!

» Director of Finance and Administration
» Pilots
» Cabin Crew
»Telephone Sales Agents

No. I was making reference to the news release stating that Bahrain Air want 90% of it's workforce to be Bahraini nationals.

The rest of your post was uncomprehensible.

So all that talk of Bahrain Air launching on National Day (Dec 16th) never materialized.

Quote:
Bahrain Air's Call Centre will start functioning today to mark National Day, said the airline's MD Al Hamer.
Nobody picks up the main Bahrain Air number - there is no recorded message - nothing! Their website too is still 'under construction'.

Quote:
Bahrain Air will go for an IPO at the end of the third year of it's operations, said Mr Al Hamer.
Sounds like your read my post on PPRuNe mister al Hamer!

Smashing airline! - NOT!

I would assume that the GF Call Centre will be open today though. Although from past experience, it may be National day everyday for their Call Centre too

Thumbs down Bahrain Air

Listen - fact is - Everyone knows December the 16th is National Day. Bahrain Air wanted to launch today and as members of the public we were told through various news statements in the local press that come December the 16th, Bahrain Air would be accepting booking online on their website and on the phone through their call centre.
