Hi RP
Subscribe to LPJ and do the set of 500 ish LPJ questions first. Very important. Then if you have time go for the EASA ones as they will also help you.

Beware that Qatar airlines is scabbing at the moment for BA. If you get involved in that it would make employment at many US airlines not a viable option.

As I asked in another thread, Sailvi767, have you been out to Doha for an interview ?

Resignations

By what I heard yesterday, almost 2 dozen senior captains from an Asian sub continent have tendered in their resignations. With an equal number to follow within the next week.
This does not include 5 brits who too have put in their papers.

Reasons : I presume instability

Looks like QATAR coming to an agreement of co-operation with Saudi and other ME contingents over their disagreements on what constitutes supporting terrorism and associated activities.
All will be settled in the interests of commerce and trade .............cos with too many waves this limited economy will have its foundations dissolved away.
So as expected all will have very little effect on Pilot recruitment .

May never get offered another joining date. I would suggest you can only ask if there is a joining date at a later time available

What's the fleet of choice to be on at Qatar with regards to lifestyle and route structure? Do they ask for your preferences during assessment?
