Emirates Hours

Hi there guys, can any body tell me if EK take FO's on with undre 4000hrs,

I have 3000 total with 2800hr's on the B737800.
How ever I cant get past the end of the application form as I dont have the 4000 required, this seem's mad to me as they cant get the pilots they want.

3 extra zero's would be enough, unless you are going for DEC. Then fork is required.

Well SJ, if you want to judge EK pilots based on one or two postings, from one or two individuals, then please feel free. It kind of defines you as well though.
Maybe with your quantitative and qualitative analysis skills you should join the company and raise the standards of our posts on pprune

Hi there guys,

well I did not expect this sort of reation, thanks to the guys who posted nice comments first of all. also thanks for taking the time to read my post, and may im so sorry that i may have spelled a word or two wrong, god I hope it dosnt take away any of my flying skill's, also to the person 2 who responed first to my post, sorry I cant be ars-d to look up your name, I guess you had a bad day at work, so I wont take it to heart, how ever as I said there seems to be an issue with finding pilots with good experiance, and I feel with just under 3000hrs on a good glass aircraft there may have been a reason to look at me and other guys with simualr hours, just to let you know as well 2 airlines down your way feel I am worth looking at so im happy. Have a nice day now.

Get real Dude... if EK is so bad that you cant wait to leave, come by my house and I will give you a dirham or two for the ticket....sooner than later is better.

Sooooo many wanna leave....so few actually do it. Stop crying and do the fricking job you accept money for doing.

For the moment, the 4000 hours is a hard limit. They will not consider your application with less. But the rumour stands that they might lower the entry requirement to what it once was (2500 hours). Stay tuned!!

Min Requirement!

Hi Spongebob 66...!
Dude?
Explain to me what you do not understand re. min requirements?
You have been born with the golden spoon already TT 3000, 737-800 time on type 2800 am I correct?
...therefore I am sure you understand EK's min requirements!
What you saying is that you are s...t hot now and ready to apply and EK's min requirements are rediculous...? Explain?
Have a beautiful day!

We are taking non english speaking Colombians now..... why not guys who think that EK owes them something?

Have seen guys with a lot more experience and capability than you spongey not get the nod because of the type of aircraft they flew...73NG doesn't give you a God given right.
