Is it advisable to transfer my medical

Good afternoon everyone,

I need some advise from someone who might have experience with the following issue:

My initial class 1 medical was issued by the Hungarian authorities. But now I am undergoing my integrated ATPL-training in Portugal.

Do I understand it correctly that the portuguese authorities will issue my license in the name of the Hungarian authorities?
Would you advise to transfer my medical before completing my training, in order to expedite the process of getting my license after the training?
How would it work if I need to transfer my license again, e.g. if an employer, lets say Ryanair, wants me to convert my license to their local authorities.
How common is it for an employer to ask their pilots to transfer their licenses?

Thanks in advance for your help!

1. Your school should be able to advise
2. See above
3. You would need to do another SOLI transfer
4. Not uncommon
