Osteoarthritis and class 1

Hi all,

I'm interested to know if you can permanently loose a UK class 1 due to osteoarthritis ( hips / knees )?. Anyone currently managing such a situation?.

I have early OA of the wrist with associated synovitis- my AME is aware and as symptoms and function are controlled well - he has not been unduly concerned.I guess it depends on the severity of the condition - they may think otherwise if you hobble into the doctors office in considerable pain......
