Opening up on MH
Dear All,
Just a reminder that some of us concerned about Mental Health in (UK) aviation have established a private forum entitled 'Flying Solo' to share information, experiences and support to anyone struggling with a diagnosed or un-diagnosed condition or illness; Not only depression.
We must all remember that because we fly aeroplanes for a living doesn't make us 'superhuman' - we are as infallible as the rest of the population in general terms. It's okay to admit our feelings, as many life events can lead to illness - bereavement or divorce to name but two. In my personal case, it was neither.
Look up 'Flying Solo' at the bottom of the forum page if you feel that we can help or are looking for peer advice. You will have to re-register via PPrune Administrators in the first instance.
