BODY SCANNERS AT SECURITY

Sorry folks, I've not been on here for a while so I may have missed some discussion on this subject: -

Does anyone have any info about medical health versus radiation and / or human rights issues regarding the x ray body scanners being used ?

I know the government ( and of course the manufacturers) are preaching their safety, but does anyone else know any more ... Good news or bad news about them ?

The government is unmotivated by profit. I am inspired to get out of bed every single day based on their commitment to public health.

Yes, x-Rays give you cancer. It's not even a good idea to get them at the Dentist if can be avoided, let alone every time you travel.

This has been debated at length recently in other threads. Please use the search function.
