Class 1: does it work?

Hello,

Let's say i do my class 1 in italy.
Can i use it (without doing any conversion or editing to the report) and apply for a training school in switzerland?

In other words, as long as i do the class 1 in europe, so a JAR class 1, wherever i pass it it'll work in an JAA FTO right?

in a word, no.

You will need to get your medical in the state which will issue your licence and as such the one where you will do all your training.

Blinkz,
Is right, would only work after you are qualified.
Check out www.jaa.nl for JAR-FCL-3 for the actual regulation.
