Need JAR Physician Western US or Canada

Looking for a JAR Doctor close to Seattle or Vancouver . Just bombed the med in Madrid due to ever so slightly high BP and his best friend cholesterol. What euro countries dont require the blood screen. Madrid Medioco does the full meal deal for all renewels. Nice enough Doc's here but are limited by what can go through as decided by the higher powers. It can be one or the other, but the two cant tango together.

Thanks.

Inept,

There is no failure level for Cholesterol in the UK; you would be given advice on how to address high levels but that's about it.

I'm not sure about the BP levels but if you call the CAA on +44 (0)1293 567171 and ask for the Aeromedical Centre they'll certainly tell you.

Use the following link to the CAA web-site, select 'Non-UK' in the
'County or Region' box and search. You'll find there's an AME in BC (as well as some others on the other side of Canada and the USA).

The following links may also help.

http://www.jaa.nl/licensing/manual_civil_aviation.html

Hope this helps,
