I am at a loss to understand the mindset behind this continued line of spurious argument.

1. There is a massive difference between consensual acts between adults, and unsolicited sexual assault or harassment. The first one may or may not be a moral issue depending on relationship status; the second is...umm...ILLEGAL! You were a law enforcement officer and you can't tell the difference?

2. Let's just alter history and theorise that Clinton actually sexually assaulted Lewinski. Are you suggesting that makes O'Reillys alleged behaviour acceptable? I've never heard of the 'well, he did it so I can too' defence standing up too well in a courtroom..

Some people around here are in desperate need of a compass swing tbh

Trump haters seem to hate O'Reilly it appears.

He had gotten far to fond of himself no doubt but that is something that happens to far too many who enjoy the success he did.

As to this spewing hate thing...I suggest some posters here need to take a quick review of their posts.

I am glad he has moved on as his program has become boring and the content far to predictable as has Hannity and Shep Smith at FOX.

I am weary of all the Democrat Strategists, Republican Consultants, Left Winged Loudmouths and the constant bickering at FOX.

Bad as it is....it sure beats CNN and MSNBC for content....those two channels are simply propaganda outlets for the Democrat Party!

I so wish there was a bonafide "News" source....one that adheres to genuine old fashioned Journalistic Ethics!

The Country would be well served if there was one such source!

I would also agree with that sentiment, but let's remind ourselves that news is not about informing people, it's about profit for global corporations. Profitable news relies on appealing to the most base of instincts in people. "Make them angry and keep them watching" is the ethos of ALL news outlets these days. Sure there's the occasional story about a kitten up a tree, or a cancer survivor who is saving Madagascar orphans while teaching them to build a reservoir from recycled Kale chip boxes. But the underlying message is remembering to hate the other team because they are "destroying your way of life - film at 11." Don't blame the proles - this is all on Turner, Murdoch and Burke etc. They get to profit while pouring gasoline on the burning city of Rome. Compromise and rational thought sells less advertising than hate spewing bigotry.

Reuters is one of the best news agencies. Although it's impossible to be 100% unbiased when reporting news, they do a pretty good job of sticking to the facts and leaving out the political commentary.

I'll admit that I used to like Bill, not for his opinions but more for his cutting through the BS attitude when it came to interviews, that said as time went on it became increasingly obvious that Bill has decided he was the oracle and all who disagreed were heretics.
As a general concept, I find the context Faux news to be absolute dross, it's populated by some good people...but the majority it would seem would be happy to be drinking beer and eating BBQ while watching reruns of hellfire strikes blowing civilians to pieces...as long as it's linked to the "war on terror". Unfortunately CNN USA is also as cringe-worthy in the other sense...not quite as bad as the BBC, or as blatant as RT, but it's the usual lowest common denominator crap. CNN international is a bit better...but controversially I find Al Jazeera at the moment at least has very little in the way of political bias that's discernible at least.
Bill needed to go....Murdoch isn't about to let him cost Faux nuuuws money, sexual harassment might be the charge..but if you ain't making money..your doomed...which is why US cable news channels are by and large crap.

Gutfeld is my kind of guy......very funny guy who is a conservative and has a very good take on politics, politicians, a very understated but hilariously entertaining way of taking apart those who spout bovine fecal matter.....no matter what brand they are dishing out!

A rant at a co worker well over two decades ago. I know I've been torqued off at some of the folks I've worked or served with. Any among us who say they haven't are liars. The sexual harassment issues concern me more.
