30 minutes flying time - then what?

If the taxi (force)lands autonomously - where? How do they recover a 'powerless' aircraft?

"The vehicle can carry one passenger weighing up to 100kg (220lbs)."

So it'd not intended for a lot of westerners to use then......

I have feared for my life riding in the standard Toyota Camry that is the vehicle of choice for the Dubai taxi. There is no way that you would get me into a flying one. Not until the technology and system is thoroughly proved.

I much prefer to travel as a passenger in a flying machine under the control of a person who has exactly the same interest in keeping it under control, i.e. sitting alongside me in it and therefore just as likely to die if it bounces off a hillside.

But then, perhaps I'm just old fashioned.

Perhaps Elon Musk's tunnel under cities idea isn't such a bad thing after all.

They need this in India. A slight risk increase compared to driving and major time savings.

A very secure landing area required. Those leg choopers will be fun in a parking lot. Not for me. Flying to work in a model helicopter.
