Oh well, I don't really mind Aaron - he's been on BBC World for a while now. Quest's OK, but Yalda does seem a bit self-absorbed.
You guys would really loathe Max Keiser then ... even more so as he's on RT.

Max Keiser! Now there's someone to listen to (occasionally). An interesting man.

Never heard of this Aaron chap so I looked him up on Youtube. Irritating? Yep. I find Robert Peston's verbal mannerisms irritating too.

We're an hour ahead here in Toblerone Land but he's just as irritating at 06:30 as he is at 05:30

He has taken the talking head tactic of talking over the person they are supposed to be "interviewing" to a new low. Tosser (other opinions are available but probably hard to find).

Can't stand the man!
Yep, I'm an insomniac so I'm up at around 05.00 and always start the day with BBC World news at that time. The news section is okay-ish (Adnan Nawaz can be a bit up his own @rse), and then the business section. Sally Bundock presents that well.
But if motor-mouth Aaran Hesselhurst comes on I frequently go off and do something else. Loud mouth fueled, I understand, by intravenous nicotine and caffeine! Constantly spouting immature waffle and not letting ANYONE else get a word in edge-ways!
A great recipe for starting the day with a headache!

One of the joys of retirement here is that I no longer have breakfast in the kitchen with the BBC twittering in the background.
I had to look up the Aussie presenter in question to find out who he is - here he is in all his glory..

He epitomises much that is wrong with the Beeb.. Their brash presenters often give me the impression that I'm being sold something.

Emily or Emilie? ...We need to be clear about this because if the beeb are after nicking France 3's lunch time newsreader Emilie Tran Nguyen you can't have her....

Emilie Tran Nguyen | Group ESC Clermont - Graduate School of Management
