Brings a whole new meaning to the term "stick shift".

No doubt he finally was blinded for the rest of his life. I always know it can happen to me some day.

The report says his car stopped with a jerk.

Didn't need a tug to move it afterwards.

The insurance payout took a big whack off his mortgage.

'It was a freak accident. . But Devon was not the kind of person who would do something stupid.
I feel the urge to argue with that statement!

Getting off topic

Can we please keep this thread for the 2016 Darwin Award candidates. There is already a 2015 thread.

A teenager in South India has been killed while trying to take a selfie photo on railway tracks.

The unnamed boy had walked onto the tracks in the hope of getting a better shot of the oncoming passenger train.

His intention appears to have been capturing a dramatic photo of the train thundering towards him in the background.

But the 16-year-old failed to move off the tracks in time and was killed when the train knocked him down in Chennai, according to local police.

These unfortunate Indian students were from Pune (an inland location), and it is possible that they were unaware of the difference between their local waterway and the sea.
