well you can make Mexico pay for the wall by cutting off their aid - it would take about 50 years to get all the money but I suppose its possible.

Government is patient when it comes to money.....until you owe them! Then you see them move like greased lightning!

Unless of course you are a Liberal, Black, a Member of Congress, or some or all of the above!

Al Sharkton for example....or any number of prominent Democrats.

Remember the trouble Obama had in filling his Cabinet?

And now they are floating the idea that you pay the tax on your 401k upfront, so why bother then?

Seems to be part of the new tax reduction package, guess we will have to wait and see.
If it's retroactive there will be hell to pay.

The Dems were wanting the government to take over all retirement programs...pensions, IRA's, 401's...the lot......and treat them like Social a Security where the Guvmint decides what you get paid and it took ownership of all the money!

Now that would be the start of the overthrow of the government had they tried that!

Apparently, "Goldman Gary" Cohn (non-elected, but director of the White House National Economic Council** (carries the White House logo - you decide which elected official he works for ).

According to this article, which quotes from Jason Zweig's WSJ column.

https://dailyreckoning.com/is-trump-...ter-your-401k/

Not that there has not been support for going after 401K tax deferral money (not principal) one way or another, from all across the political spectrum. The history of which the linked article explores.

Hey - I'm an honest guy. I don't equate "right" and "wrong" with (R) or (D). Unlike SENSEless or some of the others here.

If Trump found a cure for Cancer....some of you would scream "Trump puts Doctors out of work!".

We know who you are!

Since Trump took Office....illegal Border Crossings are way down.

Capital Markets are way up.

Employment stats are looking better.

GDP is growing.

His Tax Plan is being rolled out today......his 100th day in office.

The World has not come to an end as forecast by the Trump Haters.....now why would that be?

I happened to see an interesting tv interview with Senator Chris Van Hollen today giving the democrats opinon of the North Korean "crisis".

The interviewer did his best to keep the interview on topic but it was laughable that the majority of the Senators canned talking point commentary was about China, about how its up to China to reel North Korea in, about how China should ratchet up its banking reform and how Chinese banks should stop doing business with NK.

Talking points clearly delivered and Mr Van Hollen will probably get extra doggy biscuits tonight.

But its pretty obvious that NK is a pawn in a broader strategy.

It's true that illegal border crossings are down. But that's not because of any actions by Trumpet. People no longer consider the US of A to be the Mecca it once was. I give him that.

Please show me how Trump's actions made the capital markets and GDP to go up and I'll show you where both were in 2008 when Obama came into office and where they ended up. The same job numbers Trump said were fake under Obama are now being paraded as good news.

Mexico will still not pay for the wall and he seems not to know what to do about it. They are thinking of the next lie (alternative fact) to tell the sheeple about it while Obamacare has still not been repealed and replaced (1st day promise).

And how is he going to pay for the tax plan?

At the same time, he is about to surpass the amount of golf Obama played in 8 years within his first year.

Gimme a break!!

If you are going to offer up useless statistics to support your views perhaps you should give us the amount of time Obama spent on the basketball court compared to Donald Trump? How about the number of cigarettes each smokes daily?

I've always though that things like that were a good thing - after all the more time that Politicians spend playing golf etc the less time they have to screw up the lives of the rest of us.

Belgium survived quite well without a Government for well over a year - perhaps more countries should follow their example?

Someone brought up GDP, capital markets and job numbers. Are those useful or useless statistics?

I mentioned the golf games because at the time, quite a lot of the usual suspects were saying Obama should quit playing golf and get back to his day job. Same people that always blamed Obama for not passing a budget or some other transgression forgot that it was the party of "NO" that blocked most of his initiatives. Now Trump has the entire congress he can't even pass any meaningful legislation and is playing a lot more golf than Obama ever played while parading the worst poll figures for a president in generations. Go figure.

Bottom line is your guy is a TRUMPET!!

Hey. "Belgium survived quite well without a Government for well over a year - perhaps more countries should follow their example?"

This is wise counsel....

By any metric known to man, Government in and of itself is counter productive.

It is difficult indeed to make an argument otherwise.

I'm surprised the Trumpets are still sticking their heads up tbh. Masochists.

I see their man has backflipped on NAFTA now....no doubt the Trumpkins will claim that the impressive list of flip-flops are a testament to the Presidents 'flexibility'. I guess it's easy to be flexible when you don't have a spine..
