Cool

Hey Cooda - seems we have found a closet Eddie Rabbitt fan - not the post by Pigboat!!!!!

Pigboat - by way of explanation - the guys were giving me grief over No 13 in last weeks quiz - a song by Eddie that they could not get. Seeing you get this one so quickly validates my belief that the question was not that hard!!!!

Never doubt pigboat's ability to decipher lyrics. I'm just glad I snuck in ahead of him this morning

As I suggested last week, the only Eddie Rabbitt song I ever heard was "I Love a Rainy Night" but the opening lyric sorta gives it away and I guess you won't use it in a quiz.

(I'm scaring myself, however, with some of my answers today; particularly 12 and trivia j. My childhood must have been more deeply traumatised than I'd realised. )

Sgt Pepper's ....

Ok, so I'm a Sgt Pepper's fan ... always enjoyed the songs from there:

a. Billy Shears
b. Mr. Kite
d. Paul McCartney (that's one of the reasons for the "Paul is dead" hysteria)
f. 4000
g. 20 years ago today
h. Henry the horse

Talking

Hmm..a closet Eddie Rabbit fan, huh? Actually for some reason I thought Driving My Life Away was a Randy Travis song. (Let's not go into the 'closet' there) What tipped me was scran said Rabbit might show up in future quizzes.

I figured to ace the Sgt. Pepper thing. Went to get the album and it turns out I've got The Magical Mystery Tour. Drat!

Anyway..
10...Do You Believe in Love/Huey Lewis and the News

Trivia
i...David, Stephen, Graham and Neil.
(Their wives names are Jan, Anne, Susan and Pegi. Do I get extra points for that)?

Well scranny, you got me fooled on 10 as well. Same as Cooda, I was convinced it was ELO – Sweet Talking Woman, but I’ve just listened to it, and it’s “I was searching on a one way street”

I got here too late for most of them. Again.

I think these are missing/not correctly answered yet.

5. Without You - Nillsson
11. Gemini Dream - Moody Blues
12. Take A Letter Maria - R.B. Greaves
13. My Wild Frontier - Faith Hill (is this a scranette contribution?)

Trivia h. Paul McCartney

Beat me to it JH but glad to see that I wasn't the only one

Technically, I guess its the second line of Sweet Talking Woman as you've got the line "Where did she go?" stuck in the intro.

h....Ringo?
