Doing 22 kts at the moment. Sadly there's a big windshift whipping up from behind.

Hm, after not changing position for the last week it seems, I've made up 15 places in twenty four hours. I hope this continues.

I'm not sure following me is a terrific idea - just lucky this time - so far.
Got to go away for a few days soon so I'll just leave it pointing at the finish and see what happened when I get near the internet again.

I hope so, RainbowChaser is away at the moment I think and has limited access to the interwebbie thingie. I need a miracle on this and subsequent legs to make up for the disasterous first leg.

Rollox! Missed the start of Leg 2, once more because I found myself trapped onboard a long-haul flight, which came with it's usual side effect of brain fade.

Currently 500+ NM behind the leaders, in a measly 450ish place, with very little hope of making up much of what was lost.

Oh well, at least VikingAhoy is cruising on the sunny side of 21 knots, and the weather here at 45S is rather sporty.

I'm baaaaaaaaaack and not only have I prefixed all your SOL boatnames with PRU_ but I have also made a results grid for Leg 1.... in the next couple of days I will make a grid for our positions in Leg 2.
